A Word to My Muslim Friends

I do not desire to offend any of you. I do not have a problem with Muslim people I have a problem with the religion of Islam. I know that many of you did not have the choice to become Muslim. Soon after the death of Muhammad many wanted to leave Islam, but Abu Bakr threatened punishment for all apostates. For many of you, Islam is not a choice you have made; it is a religion passed down to you by your family. I understand that leaving Islam is equal to leaving your family. There are some of you who keep your questions to yourself out of fear, even if you don’t believe. I do not want to make your life difficult, to challenge you, or threaten you. My heart is to give you choice and freedom. Don’t be afraid of what people think, open your mind to who Jesus really is. Listen to what He says,
 “All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:27-30)
Jesus says He is the representative for His father (God) and the answer to heavy burdens. Jesus is the only one who knows the Father, but He has authority to reveal the Father to any one He wishes. But, He is not harsh He will accept you and remove your burdens. He says, "Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven.” (Matthew 10:32)
But, listen to His warning,
“I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him. Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Luke 12:4-7 “Whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.” (Matthew 10:33)
Jesus is willing to be near to you, if you draw near to Him. He says, “Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.” (John 6:27) He makes many claims that are worth looking into. If you are searching for eternal life, Jesus claims to have the authority to give that to you, but you must open your mind and heart to hear His words. Do not fear men, fear God and the one He sent, Jesus Christ His son.
